The Problemchange

These damn Telink Wireless Receivers don't have pairing software, or any answers on how to pair them online. If you buy a keyboard and mouse, they'll come with two separate adapters, and now it's a pain to remember which one is which. Or worse, you're running low on USB ports and you just want one receiver for two products, like Logitech.



However, all the answers are right in the poorly translated manual you got with your device.

The Solution

1. Turn off the device
2. Unplug the receiver
3. Turn on the device
4. Follow any additional instructions
5. Plug in the receiver

Note: You can only pair one device at a time. Please repeat all above instructons for each device you have.

My Setup

• 248a:8327 Maxxter Telink Wireless Receiver
  • lsusb will only display "Maxxter Wireless Receiver
  • Mouse settings in KDE will display "Telink Wireless Receiver Mouse" and "Telink Wireless Receiver Keyboard" separately
• Arteck 2.4G keyboard
• Arteck 2.4G mouse
